Stumped is the front door to a growing set of daily sports puzzles. One habit, every morning: a fresh puzzle drops, you play, you keep your streak, you come back tomorrow. The games live on their own league sites; this page is the hub that ties them together.

The idea

A good sports puzzle turns what you already know as a fan into something you can play and share. We start from real league data — records, rosters, projections, milestones — and shape it into a game that's fair to a sharp solver and quick enough to fit into a morning.

The games

Today there are two leagues live. In the WNBA, Pace is a higher-or-lower game on tonight's projections, and Decipher asks you to name the redacted player from her stat line. In the NFL, Fourth & Know turns field position into a run at the board — four face-down tiles, rising stakes, one attempt. Each is a new puzzle every day during its season.

Built on facts we check

Every puzzle is built from real data, and every fact carries a source. Stat and record facts are verified against authoritative databases before they publish and re-checked over time; context and biography come from named, reputable publications. For the full method, see how we check.
