Stumped ("stumped.games") is a free, browser-based collection of daily sports games. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. It covers stumped.games and our league sites (such as wnba.stumped.games and nfl.stumped.games).

Information We Collect

We do not require account creation or login. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us.

Local storage. Your game progress, streak data, and completed puzzle history are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, device type, and approximate geographic region. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve the experience. Google Analytics uses cookies — you can opt out via your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

This site displays ads served by third-party advertising networks. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies — such as the DoubleClick DART cookie — enables it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.

We also set one functional cookie, scoped to our own domain (.stumped.games), that syncs your daily-game results between our sites — for example, a board you play on stumped.games then shows as completed on wnba.stumped.games. Like all cookies it is sent with requests to our domain, but it holds only your recent game results, carries no personal information, and is not used for login, tracking, or profiling.

The analytics and advertising cookies described above are set and controlled by those third-party vendors, not by us. We do not control these cookies and cannot read the data they collect; refer to each vendor's own privacy policy and use the opt-out links above to manage them.

Your Privacy Choices (U.S. Residents)

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the use of advertising and analytics cookies to serve or measure personalized ads can be considered "selling" or "sharing" personal information. Because we do not require an account and do not collect your name, email, or other identifying information, we hold no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Retention
